Sunrise Custom Painting did an excellent job preparing and painting our old home, which had lead paint. It was challenging to get bids for lead paint abatement, as those of you with lead paint on your home likely know. All the bids we received were expensive, but Sunrise’s was the most reasonable and comprehensive. The performance of the painting crew was the highest quality. They were careful, meticulous, and easy to work with. They performed some dry rot and shingle repairs and did an excellent job. Communicating with Solomon and his crew was easy. They showed up on time, worked long days and worked very hard. The results reflect their attention to detail and their professionalism. Sunrise was highly recommended by paint stores, realtors, and neighbors, and we add our endorsement to those recommendations.

We hired Sunrise Custom Painting to paint our 1925 Craftsman bungalow this summer. We could not have been happier with the work which they did. They had a crew of three at our home for a month and they did so much more than just paint the house. They found dry rot, rebuilt the garage, completely rebuilt the front porch, repaired siding, and patched the roof. They were so thorough that we feel like we have gotten a new home.
Everything they did was top quality. The workmen were simply wonderful human beings. They truly cared about us and our home and they took great pride in the work they were doing. Highly impressed with Sunrise from initial contact until the finished result.
We hired Sunrise to strip all lead-based paint from our 1913 house in NE Portland. then to repair some of the intricate woodwork, before repainting the entire exterior in four different colours.
Company owner Salomon was quick to respond after our initial approach, spent some time with us as we outlined our needs and he explained each stage of his process, and was quick to respond throughout the entire timeline which, due to winter weather, extended from November stripping to March painting, We changed our minds on a couple of ideas whilst work was in progress, and Salomon was quick to accept and adapt these changes.
The two teams of guys for both stripping and painting were amazing; arriving like clockwork every day, working long hours, happy to explain what they were about to do and how it might inconvenience us (eg. masking all our windows for both stripping & painting, blocking off front or back access), and also happy to adapt to any changes we made, or problems we caused for them. Christian and Santos in particular were wonderful at two-way communication.
As a consequence of their teamwork, our house looks wonderful. I have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone else.

Sunrise Custom Painting did an excellent job painting my house. Salomon and his painters kept me informed of what they were doing every step of the way. My house was built in 1904 and, like any old house, needed plenty of prep work – the painters did this wonderfully, with a lot of attention to detail and making sure the job was done right.
